Our Origin Story

pouches.io began with a simple belief: 'There has to be a better way.' Like most good ideas, the vision was brought to life over a beer when longtime friends Kyle Evans and Alex McGivney met one rainy afternoon. Kyle, a CPA with industry expertise in consumer packaged goods and packaging, shared his vision with Alex. He saw a stagnant industry, slow to innovate and ripe for transformation.

Alex, a software product manager with a passion for customer experience design, recognized similar frustrations and themes in his previous work. Equally excited about the opportunity, and a desire to create something of his own, Alex joined Kyle as co-founders.

Armed with an entrepreneurial spirit and shared values of always putting the customer first, operating with transparency, and challenging the status quo, Kyle and Alex set out to transform the packaging industry. pouches.io is their journey to simplify packaging through the embrace of new technology and continuous process refinement.
